Helping Others Prepare for Eternity

• Bob Keith is now at home and receiving around-the-clock care.
• Dorothy Maberry, mother of Barbara Seamon, is now at home following surgery today for endometial cancer. Her address is 734 Emory Valley Rd., Room 149, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
• Jean McCreary received wonderful news, she is now cancer free.

We extend our sympathy Bonnie and Robert Dolan in the death of Bonnie's mother, Jerrie Helton. She is also the grandmother of Leigh Anne Hackett. Visitation is today at the West Harpeth Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 a.m., with the funeral at Noon. Burial will follow.

• Veda Garner, infant grand-daughter of Don and Peggy Garner, is still at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
• Steve Greene has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. He will begin chemotherapy and radiation on May 20.
• Sally Hudgins, daughter of Kathy and Bob Hill, remains in ICU at Vanderbilt Hospital recovering from surgery for an aneurysm. No visitors pelase.
• Kenneth Lampley, father of Brenda Plunkett, has improved and can continue treatment. He is at home.
• Gary Nelms, son-in-law of Lynch and Marcia Corley, has moved to Good Samaritan Health and Rehab Center at 500 Hickory Hollow Terrace in Antioch.
• Parker Thompson is hospitalized in North Carolina for tests and treatments.
• Rigoberto Vargas, longtime missionary working in the Honduran prisons, is seriously ill with a bleeding ulcer. He is hospitalized in Central America.

Bring a gift card for your Secret Sister, to their favorite restaurant, minimal spa treatment (mani, pedi or massage), or something special you feel your secret sister will enjoy. The point of the evening is to reveal ourselves to our secret sister and get to know that person a bit better.

**May 19 - Honoring The Legacy of Coach Mac
The Lipscomb Academy Cheerleaders are selling wristbands for $2 in honor of our beloved Coach Glenn McCadams. Coach Mac led Lipscomb football for 31 years and left behind a legacy of faith, family, friendship--and also of football. He was fond of 5 Key Concepts he called "his legacy" and conveyed to students by the letters A W H C P. The letters stand for "Attitude, Work, Hustle, Pride and Class. " Each purple wristband has engraved letters which read COACH MAC as well as the letters A W H C P.

Please support the cheerleaders as they honor Coach Mac and raise money to honor his legacy at the stadium and also with Coaches Against Cancer. Please purchase the wristbands at the assigned kiosk in the foyer.

May 19 - Children's Ministry Playground Grand Opening celebration, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Children (4th grade and under) and their families (no matter the age of siblings) are invited to attend. The children may play on the new playground equipment; enjoy the giant inflatable slide (special for this day) and the bounce house (for younger siblings). They may also bring their riding toys and/or bikes. We’ll even have a game of kickball and/or recycle ball in the open fenced-in area for older kids. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the fellowship. There will be popcorn, cotton candy, sno-cones, and drinks for everyone. The celebration time will end with a family devotional time from 5:30 – 6 pm. (If it rains it will be rescheduled.)

Camp Shiloh Work Crew Mission Trip Update:
Thanks to those who have volunteered to go on the Camp Shiloh Work Trip. One additional cook is still needed to help Kim Malick and Donna High keep the crew well nourished while they are working so hard on their construction assignments. Contact Junior High for information.
