"Be Joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
Up early this morning to post a few words, before we head to breakfast...our Friday task.
Our verse for today....is very fitting.
We are having a good trip...however, some of our work for some of our crews are having to be adjusted.
There is one lady in the Honduran Govt---who I don't know or have not met...but she is holding up our container. We have done everything we can humanly do. Ronald Million and our Lawyer that works with Jovenes...have spend weeks preparing...and several days with this lady....but still she will not release the container.
i am sure that I have not fully given it over to God.
As a group last night---we talked about giving it over to God. He is in control---not this lady in Honduras.
If we are to have the items to work with---then God will open that door---if not, other doors will be opened today.
We are having a wonderful time...and today...we will try to finish our three houses..and move on to a few other projects that have been created along the way....as we continue to pray that the container will be released and shipped to Jovenes...so we can distribute items and build the playground, etc.
Everyone is doing fine!
Yesterday our verse was from Psalm 32:8 "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go: I will counsel you and watch over you"
Again a call for me to let God be in control.
That is hard for me as the leader of the group...
especially when our schedule is messed up; our work projects and trips take a different turn---and my communications systems go down. (I am having trouble connecting with our BHCC server to check email---so that creates a few additional problems!)
But, you know what...God is good...we are doing good and we are helping a lot of folks...I am sure some pictures are making their way to facebook...I hope to get someone to post some on our BHCC page.
I must hurry---to head to breakfast---as assignments need to be made for the day.
Continue to pray for our trip, the folks in Honduras...and that our container will be released today.
Adios....experience and enjoy the Journey!
