10 more shopping days….
Wow…it is getting close!
Our kids are covered up with Exams…Bethany began HS exams today…Benjamin had two exams today…and Justin reports that the exam he took today…was the hardest exam he has ever taken!
Barbara and her crew did a great job with Breakfast with Santa. The 20th Anniversary was a hit. Barbara made arrangements to give special Santa prints to the “Wise” couple from the North Pole and the Jon Taylor’s—who have been taking our pictures for many years.
The group then surprised Barbara with another Santa Print! It is beautiful…and it is hanging over our fireplace. It will become a holiday tradition in our house.
Last night the Overton Chorus did a great job. Thanks to everyone who brought food and helped with the event.
Today…our Monday Morning Quarterbacks gathered at 6:30 am. They plan to meet again next Monday (I will be traveling with the Bisons) and then we will take off the next week….and then begin meeting in 2010 on January 4th.
Jerry Kennedy and I visited Tim Rhodes today…his wife Vickie is very ill at St. Thomas hospital. Please keep her in your prayers.
Here is an update from Ronald.

Overton High School Chorus—Tonight!
I hope all of you will make plans to be here tonight to hear the Overton High School Chorus. This is a wonderful opportunity to share Light and Love with our neighbors down the street. After their performance, join us for pizza in the Family Life Center. We need our elders, deacons, and anyone else who would like to stay to bring a salad and dessert to share. You won’t want to miss tonight’s encouraging service!
We had an incredible turn-out for the first annual Brentwood Hills Christmas Carols! Jeff Rice and Kerry Stiles planned a great event—the music was exciting, the food delicious, and the fellowship priceless! Thank you to all of you who participated in the singing group and to everyone who came—what a great way to kick-off the holidays!

We couldn’t have done it without you!
