Jonathan’s Journey

March comes in like a LION
Sunday morning…much of Middle Tennessee woke up to a blanket of snow. Only a about an inch in the Nashville are…but to the west and the south…anywhere from 4-10 inches. Michael Linn was up early to put out the ice melt…and to help get our parking lot ready for our services!
The sun soon came out…and despite the wind and the cold…most of the snow melted away. (There is still some on our deck and in ‘shady’ areas.
The DLHS Chorus performed at BHCC last night…they did a wonderful job and we had a great crowd on hand for the performance. A lot of great salads and desserts---and a good time had by all! I appreciate everyone who helped with set-up, tear down and clean-up.
Brother Dailey and I went to the area Ministers Luncheon today. The monthly event is sponsored by 21st Century Christian…but today it was held at the Granny White building….as Dale Jenkins put on a special program---“what ministers wished their elders knew…and what Elders wished their minister’s knew”---a panel of several elders and ministers shared their thoughts on the subject. There were a lot of elders in attendance for today’s meeting…along with a good group of ministers.
Elizabeth and Benjamin came out to the house for dinner tonight…and then Bethany and Liz started watching the final episode of the bachelor---and before you knew it---everyone was glued to the TV. I remain in front of the TV…but I am now glued to Andy Griffith!
That is about it for the Journey today…and early meeting in the morning…and then a full day…including a trip to the Tuesday night Grand Ole Opry….for the A-Sun pre tourney reception!
Have a great Journey.
