What can you remember about six years ago this Sunday, September 9, 2001? If you can remember much at all, you're the exception - not the rule.

What can you remember about six years ago this Tuesday, September 11, 2001? If you can remember much at all, you're the rule - not the exception.

For any of us it's much easier to remember days and events that significantly affect our lives - whether for good or for bad.
Therefore, when the world changed on the morning of 9/11, six years ago next week, most of us can vividly remember what we were doing, whom we were with, and even how we reacted when we first heard the unbelievable news - and probably for several hours, even days, afterwards.

God wants and plans for this Sunday, September 9, 2007, to be an unforgettable day in the lives of many people - perhaps even you and me.
It's not because He has something bad planned, but just the opposite.
He wants to bless us - and He is certainly capable of doing that.
Please allow me to encourage you to do two important things prior to our time together in worship at Brentwood Hills this Sunday:

* Pray - ask God to prepare your heart for what He has planned for
you
* Anticipate - come Sunday expecting good things to happen, both
in your life and in the lives of others

I look forward to worshiping with you at Brentwood Hills. Who knows?
Six years from now we may look back on September 9, 2007, as a very memorable, wonderful and life-changing day for us!
